Kisspeptin is a naturally occurring neurocompound studied for its role in regulating the
hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis. In research settings, it has been characterized as a
stimulator of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) release from the hypothalamus, with downstream effects on pituitary luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) secretion in animal and in-vitro models.

Preclinical and clinical research literature has examined kisspeptin role in reproductive
