KPV is a synthetic tripeptide composed of lysine, proline, and valine. It corresponds to the C-terminal fragment of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (α-MSH) and has been investigated in preclinical research for its role in inflammatory signaling and immune response pathways.
